The Niro is one of a number of crossover concept cars that Kia has created
recently - the Cub,
a curvy "four-door coupe" based on the Soul was revealed at the
Seoul motor show in March this year, and Kia showed the Provo concept car at
the Geneva motor show in March.
This suggests that a sporty, compact crossover similar in character to the Nissan Juke is due to be launched soon; Kia has confirmed that the Niro will be used to gauge potential interest in future models.
